Default Bad ABS Sensor?

Dumb question, but thought I'd throw it out...

If I get zero continuity (∞ Ohms) on one ABS sensor, when measuring between the two pins that would be the eyes of a face ( °.° ) [not the one that would be the nose], on one ABS sensor, and an expected value (1.008Ω and 1.006Ω for the rears, 1.080Ω for the R front) on all of the other three, that means that that one (LF) sensor is bad, right?

I only ask because I tried to remove it (using lots of KROIL, which is good stuff), and have succeeded only in breaking off the mounting portion - the sensor is completely frozen in its bore, and at this point, it's looking like I'll have to pull the hub in order to be able to pound the sensor out from the inside, and I really don't want to if I don't have to.

Thanks,

- Eric

The rear sensors come right out, the front ones are almost always seized in the hubs. I broke both front sensors off of my old spindles trying to salvage them for MrCrow's Ti a while back. Ended up destroying the spindle too! Luckily they were my old spindles/hubs and were on their way out to the dumpster anyway. You're going to have to remove the hub spindle and find some way to press the sensor out from the inside. It's gonna be a royal PITA, you might even consider just finding a set of M3 front spindles/hubs/calipers/carriers/rotors and upgrading the whole front brake system. Best of luck to ya!

That's what I thought.

Worse comes to worst, once I have it apart, heat'll get it out.

Thanks.
