I'm wondering what chip I should get for my 95 318ti. It has no aftermarket modifications and I'm not planning on doing anything crazy like a supercharger or anything like that. Maybe an intake and exhaust and that will be it. So I'm wondering what kind of performance chip would be the best for me. I've looked at the dinan, the mark d and the W.A.R chip. I think the war chip is a bit overkill for what I'll be doing with my car and seeing as I don't know much about timing or fuel ratios or have access to a dyno I don't think the war chip is the one for me. So I'm thinking its down to the dinan and mark d chips. What would you guys suggest and why? Also are there some things I should know before buying and installing a chip. I'm new to all this aftermarket tuning stuff so any help is greatly appreciated | | | 03-16-2013, 02:21 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | Midnight Tuning Solutions Talk with Berrie. I'm also looking for anyone that have used different chips and if they've noticed a difference between the chips. If there is anyone that has tried more than one chip lol Last edited by ericfournier; 03-16-2013 at 05:47 AM. | | | 03-16-2013, 03:48 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | lots of my clients have dropped the Dinan chip for my chip and like mine way more midnight-tuning@rogers.com cheers | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
