Default improved mileage!

well of course its only anecdotal but considering fuel prices these days! when doing some work on the car the other day, i removed that disintegrated foam liner from the bottom of my airbox as well as the frame which held it in place. attached to the grid/frame is a baffle where the air actually comes into the box (stock set-up). i merely removed the grid/baffle to see if it made a difference on airflow. well i havent changed my aggro city driving style and i'm get +3-5 mpg now. i used to get btwn 19-21 city about 30 highway. last night car took 4.74gal. for 75.6 miles of city. havent checked highway miles yet....
