They offer as a "customer courtesy" to read the codes and give you a printout of the results. The unit they use is "Auto X-ray". This is a great service $-saving service your local parts store/chain might offer. So 5 minutes later and no out-of-pocket I have a list of the codes puked out by car so I can start addressed the engine fault light. | | | 03-22-2006, 11:40 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Southern California Posts: 420 | You can get the same results yearly if you have to get a Smog Check. The Smog Station can give you a print out of any errors your OBC is monitoring. This means there was a problem that either you fixed or some how stopped, but your OBC is still waiting for the error to happen again. Most auto parts stores will do this as a free courtest FYI. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | 15mm pad install problem | hotdog19d | Suspension | 11 | 04-29-2005 04:42 AM | |
