In your spec, you list hid's and icey sidelights, do you have projector headlights, or did you just fit the hids to the existing headlamps? I want to get hids for mine and am not sure that the regular headlamps will give the right cut off to the beam pattern as the projectors would. I also have read that projectors put more light onto the road as well. How have you found the hids? has all the progress on the car been printed in the mag? i may need to check out some back issues..... Also, any news on the uk meet for us peeps near(ish) bristol? I now have a ti, so can come along now. I got the HIDs from Ben @ http://www.chromeline-design.com/ good guy with loads of nice stuff to sell you As for a UK meet.... There was one in Cheddar that we could have gate crashed... (well I was there anyway) also there was an Action day at Castle Combe race circuit the weekend just gone... which there was another compact but not from this register... I am open to suggestions now... I have posted 2 events but not many takers... Maybe the summer will be a better time.. lots of shows etc... __________________ BMW 318ti Sport Compact Dakar Edition TOTAL BMW Magazine - Project car #2 Mods: BB Throttle body * Gruppe-m induction * Engine re-map * AC type 3 Lightweight 17" alloys * Eisenmann exhaust 2 X 70mm pipes * Hand brake and Gear shift - Vitesse products * Black Grilles - De-Chromed! * Eibach Springs and dampers (30mm lower) * ACS S3 Dakar mirrors - Now on and looking mint! * Carbon Fibre M3 Lip * Carrying 318ti.org stickers * Coupe headlights with HIDs and Gen6 angel eyes | | | 04-25-2006, 09:41 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Watford, herts, England Posts: 805 | i was going to come down to castle coombe last weekend but the need of servicing and suspention parts meant that i was not too keen on putting the car on track and its quite a drive from london to coombe to wander round a bit. i'd like to hook up though and see some other ti's in the "flesh". maybe got some inspiration. __________________ '96 318ti in Montreal Blue :m-tec sideskirts,m-bootspoiler,clear corners & repeaters .m-tech side mouldings, Magnex Exhaust System, leather armrest, F-15 gear Knob, 18" Evo 2's.
