Default 235/40's on the front

anyone run a 235/40 /17 on the front? i found a set of wheels im interested in with brand new tires... staggered contours. but the guy put 235/40 on the front and 235/45 on the rears...

seems odd to me, but the price is pretty good regardless of the wack tire size. just wondering if i can get by with them without too much rubbing.

i'm slightly lowered (rd kit)

You will be fine... 95 M3s came with that size. I have that size on my 330ti, lowered with the bilstein bts kit.

I have 235/40R18's and it fits well. On Koni adjustables and Eiback pro-kit springs. Wheels are 40 offset. Rubbing at the very edges of turning radius. Lots of grip though!!

I run 245-40/17 in front and 265-40/17 in the rear. Replacing the fronts with 245-45/17's in a week or two...

Fronts are fine however I have the M3 front suspension, so the caster is much higher than a stock (or sport) ti. These will rub on stock suspension.

Rear quarters are rolled.

Wheels are stock BMW LTW's

I just installed 245-45/17's and they look like crap. No rubbing, bt I am not happy with the lok at all.

Have to researchr- might have to go to 235-45/17 or back to 245-40 17, althought I thought the 245-40's were a bit too low looking...

Anyway, I have to figure something out.
